The guesthouse "The Old Kafenion" is an old and historical Cretan building and offers 3 guestrooms.
Each room is about 25 m2 and is very comfortable.
Room Alfa has a very typical character due to the remained open fireplace.In this room, the bed is build on top of the old winepress, which creates a special atmosphere.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and lavabo.
This room has in front a very cosy garden, perfect to spend the evening.
Room Vita has a special feeling due to the high ceiling.It is a spacious room and it has two entrances, one from the front garden and one from the back garden.The bathroom, with bathtub, has a special design and is very decorative with the remained stone build wall.
Room gamma is accessible only from the garden.
The room has a typical Cretan wooden ceiling and a piece of the original stonewall is kept.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and lavabo.
The arch in the bathroom, and the special design of the room, give also to this guestroom a very special character.
The temperature in the rooms remains very nice during the whole year due to the thick walls
but there is also air conditioning for the warmest days and nights.

The building dates from more than 150 years ago and has a typical Cretan architecture.
During the restoration (2005), we kept this architecture and a lot of decorative elements from that period.
Till 50 years ago the house was used as the local kafenion due to its central place in the village, just in front of the small church.
The garden is about 450 m2 with centrally placed,the swimmingpool where you can plunge into the refreshing water.
There is also a pergola where it is a bit cooler.
The roof terrace has sea view and you can enjoy here a magnificent sunset. You have also a very nice view to the mountains of Psiloritis.
